Very good

PicMe is perhaps the most simple solution you'll find to capture screenshots of your Android phone.

Taking screenshots on your Android device is a lot more difficult than it should be. On the iPhone you can press two keys and it's done, but with Google's mobile OS you'll be scratching your head trying to work out how it's done.

Once installed on your device, PicMe uses your network connection to display images of your screen on a web server.

When connected, a small window appears within PicMe showing you the URL where the image is being relayed to. Type this address into any web browser and it will display an image of what's currently being displayed on your Android phone. You can then grab these images using an ordinary screen capture tool, such as SnagIt or PicPick.

There are three different ways to view the device's screen using PicMe - Static, which displays only the screen state when PicMe was activated; plus Live and Live (standalone), which both give you a real time view of what's happening on your handset.

PicMe is not quite as useful as the iPhone screen grabbing feature because it requires a desktop screenshot app to take grabs from your phone. However, it's probably the best way to take Android screenshots at present.
